3.Legality and Illegality of real estate contracts

4.Remedies for breach of contract and concept of caveat emptor (why it doesn’t always exempt salespersons from liability)

5.Typical clauses in Option To Purchase for Private Residential Property transaction – Duties of salespersons to explain

6.Completion of sale

7.Duty and standard of care in tort

8.Misrepresentation and negligence with case law illustrations

9.Estate Agent’s vicarious responsibility over acts of salespersons

10.Fiduciary duty relationship

1)Ms Devi Haridas is a practising lawyer and adjunct lecturer with UniSIM. She is also a lecturer of SAEA under the Approved Course Provider for RES course.
