Nominations for the SAEA Real Estate Excellence Awards 2011 are now closed!
Singapore Accredited Estate Agencies Limited (SAEA Ltd) initiated the Real Estate Excellence Awards to recognize the professional accomplishments and conduct of accredited salespersons in this vital and growing industry since 2008.
This year, the Excellence Awards ceremony will be held in conjunction with the National Real Estate Congress 2011 co-organised by SAEA Ltd, the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (SISV) and FIABCI.
There are 3 Award categories, namely:
(a) Best Salesperson (b) Best Client Service (c) Best Leader

(a) Best Salesperson
This Award is given based on the performance of the nominee both quantitatively and qualitatively
Quantitative Assessment
Qualitative Assessment
- Shortlisted nominees are to demonstrate at an interview with the Panel of Judges that performance or results is a product of professional, ethical conduct (Quality should produce quantity)
(b) Best Client Service
This Award offers an opportunity for the client* (buyer, seller, landlord or tenant) to nominate the salesperson who has delighted him/her with exceptional service.
*Client must sign the nomination form and is obliged to a short phone verification interview
An example of quality service displayed by the nominee:
Comments from a very satisfied Client: “The nominee did a lot of extra ‘homework’ by showing me recent transacted prices in the area and went to check out the unit(s) before making appointment to show me. There were 4-5 blocks in this area that I was keen in and the nominee went to knock on doors and drop flyers at every unit.”
Assessment
- Demonstrate professional contribution and exceptional service that has enriched the client’s experience in buying/selling/renting of the property
- Shortlisted nominees will be granted an interview with the Panel of Judges
(c) Best Leader
This Award is given to nominees who have displayed outstanding leadership abilities (in a team of minimum 5 agents). The nomination must be submitted by the CEO/MD of the accredited agency.
Assessment
- Achieve good sales record over the qualifying period 1 Jul 2010 to 30 Jun 2011
- Demonstrate one or more of the following traits:
- Exemplary conduct which upholds the accredited agency’s core values
- Tenacity, high adversity quotient, good self-management & promotes upgrading of learning
- Shortlisted nominees will be granted an interview with the Panel of Judges
