Mr Chow has been a real estate practitioner for many years and has experience in sales and lease transactions of both public and private residential market. Currently, he is a senior realtor with an estate agent that is part of an international property consultant.
Mr Mark Gansham graduated from the University of London with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. He is also ACTA (Advanced Certificate In Training And Assessment) qualified, a pre-requisite to train WDA's Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) programs.
Mark has been a real estate practitioner for 18 years and has vast experience in sales and lease transactions of both the public and private residential market. He has vast knowledge in areas of HDB and Private Residential Properties.
Mark has extensive experience in Real Estate training. He is involved in training in Area of Rental & Sale of Public and Private Properties as well as Skills based training. He has also been committed in training salespersons on Ethical Practices and Professional Behavior.
Currently, he is a Business Head as well as a CPD trainer with an estate agent that is part of an international property consultancy.
Mr Gaw Seng Suan, John is presently the managing partner of LandConsult LLP. Gaw graduated with a 2nd class Uppers Hons degree in Estate Management from the National University of Singapore. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers and is a registered salesperson. He has more than 26 years of land and property experience, mainly in State land and property administration with the then Land Office and the Singapore Land Authority prior to setting up his own property consultancy business. The positions he held there included Deputy Commissioner of Lands; Director, Land Resource Group and Director, Land Data/Chief Data Officer.
At Land Office and SLA, Gaw oversaw the full scope of land work including sales, purchase, tender, auction, leasing, licensing, lease renewal, lease extension, change and intensification of use (differential premium), amalgamation and subdivision, surrender and reissue, vesting, management and maintenance, valuation, enforcement, etc. Gaw also sat on numerous land related inter-agency committees and work-groups such as the Master Plan Committee.
Mr Leslie Goh is a Licensed Appraiser in his own valuation practice. His work experience in the real estate industry over the last 30 years includes agency work, facility and project management and fire safety management.
As a trainer, he has taught at two of Singapore’s polytechnics and private educational institutions. Currently, he is an associate trainer with the Building & Construction Authority. Leslie holds a B Sc (Estate Management) and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.
Ms Geoy May Li is the Managing Consultant of Vines Consulting LLP. May Li holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from University of Western Sydney. She is an active PMC (registered Practising Management Consultant by PMC Board) specializing in CCI (Customer Centric Initiatives funded by Spring Singapore) and is a certified ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment) programme developer & trainer awarded by WDA. Mr Lee Heng Mun has been in the real estate industry for more than 33 years and is currently a KEO of an estate agent. He has held senior positions in both large and privately owned real estate companies and has also worked in real estate consultancy firms, servicing high network clientele. Mr Lee’s experience includes the sale and leasing of industrial, commercial as well as residential properties. He was involved in the launch of several residential projects and the divestment of many large projects. In addition, he has assisted clients in evaluating acquisitions both locally and overseas.
Mr Lee holds a B. Sc degree in Estate Management and is a licensed valuer. He is also a member of Singapore Institute of Surveyors And Valuers.
Mr Sunny Lee is the current Chief Executive Officer of SAEA and has some 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has worked in both public and private sectors, holding various senior positions covering investment, residential and commercial sectors.
Sunny holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Estate Management) and a Master of Science Degree (Property Maintenance & Management) from the National University of Singapore. He is a licensed Valuer and a registered Salesperson; and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers. Yew Kwong was with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (and the predecessor Inland Revenue Development) for 28 years, and his last-held positions in IRAS were Chief Valuer and Chief Legal Officer. In the civil service, he was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver).
After leaving IRAS, he was in practice as a Tax lawyer, with the last 6 years in Wong partnership until he joined KPMG in April 2012 as Principal Tax Consultant.
Besides being an Advocate and Solicitor (Supreme Court of Singapore) and a barrister (Lincoln's Inn, UK), Yew Kwong holds professional qualifications in real estate and valuation. Mr Steve Liu, CPD Trainer and RES Lecturer
Mr Steve Liu graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia with a Bachelor degree in Engineering. He is also ACTA (Advanced Certificate In Training And Assessment) qualified, a pre-requisite to train WDA's Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) programs.
Mr Liu’s training expertise was developed through his previous appointments as a former polytechnic lecturer and research and development engineer where part of his job scope requires him to train sale executives on new technology products.
Mr Liu has been a real estate practitioner for many years and has experience in sales and lease transactions of both the public and private residential market. Currently, he is a Deputy Business Head as well as a Sales & CPD trainer with an estate agent that is part of an international property consultancy.
Mr Ray Ng is a Chartered Marketer from Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). Prior to joining the real estate industry, Mr Ng was a Marketing Manager at a few multi-national corporations managing fast moving global consumer products (FMCG). Since then, Mr Ng has moved on to the real estate industry and has been practising real estate marketing for the past 15 years. He was an experienced Senior Team Manager with a few leading Estate Agents before setting up his own agency.
Since winning the industry title "Realtor of the Year" in 1996, Mr Ng’s goal and passion are to share his skills and techniques with real estate salespersons and team managers. To fulfil this goal, he runs his own training consultancy firm which specialises in professional marketing and sales training programmes, seminars & talks for real estate salespersons and team managers.
Mr Ong Chin Hwee Francis, CPD Trainer and RES Lecturer
Mr Ong Chin Hwee Francis is concurrently a Director and the Key Executive Officer of a local property consultancy company. He is a founder Board Member of SAEA Ltd and has for many years served in honorary non-executive positions in various real estate industry associations, the CEHA Board, pro-tem professional development committees, mediation and disciplinary panels.
Chin Hwee has been involved in the real estate industry for more than 35 years, holding senior positions in both the public and private sectors. His work experience has been extensive, encompassing administrative and professional responsibilities for property consultancy and agency services, valuation, land acquisition and disposal, commercial and industrial property leasing, commercial and industrial building management, maintenance management and project management.
Mr Pang Joo Soon’s real estate experience spanned across a broad spectrum including Valuation, Consulting, Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Financing and Brokerage – in both Public and Private sectors; at one point managing property folios totalling more than 10 million square feet of commercial space across Asia Pacific for MNC clients.
Mr Pang holds an Honours Degree in B.Sc (Estate Management) from NUS and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers. He is a licensed Valuer and a registered Salesperson. Mr Pang is ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment) qualified and had previously conducted CEHA courses.
Mr Jason Quek has more than 13 years of experience in the real estate industry. He is currently a Division Director and the main trainer /coordinator for Core CPD activities in one of the leading real estate agents. His experience includes sale, leasing and project sales of residential as well as commercial properties and en-bloc sales. Mr Quek has more than 11 years of training experience in the industry.
Mr Quek holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering from NUS. He had also completed and passed both the Real Estate Agency Course (REAC) and the Common Examination for House Agent (CEHA).
Kevin Shepherdson is the CEO and Co-founder of Straits Interactive Pte Ltd. He is also a professional member of the International Association of Privacy Individuals and has been active in providing training and consultancy to companies in relation to the Personal Data Protection Act.
In his 20-year career as a business and marketing strategist, he has held senior leadership and management roles with Creative Technology, Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corporation.
Throughout his career, Kevin won multiple worldwide and Asia Pacific employee excellence awards, including those for marketing excellence, market intelligence and technology innovation. Kevin's speaking engagements also includes the National Real Estate Congress as motivation speaker (2012) and recently as key note speaker for the Toastmasters International Convention.
Kevin brings his experience in marketing and technology to Straits Interactive from Oracle, where he was head of the demand generation, customer intelligence and call centre for Asia Pacific. Having worked with American MNCs, Kevin is familiar with data privacy and protection laws in US and UK. He also owns a training and consultancy company where he specialises in sales, marketing and communication. Kevin is also a core professional development (CPD) trainer at the Singapore Association of Estate Agents as well a trainer for the Singapore Memory project.

Mr James Tam has more than 30 years of experience in the service line. He started out in the airline industry before moving on to insurance and eventually into real estate. During the past 20 years, he has marketed several property projects and was involved in the sale and rental transactions of many private properties.
Mr Tam also has extensive experience in Real Estate training. In his last appointment as the Associate Director (Training and Development) of a leading real estate company, he was responsible for the setting up of the training department and had to organise seminars, develop and train programs and CPD curriculum activities for the company. Mr Tam is also ACTA qualified which is a needed requirement to train WDA's WSQ programs.
Dr Tan Tee Khoon is currently the Key Executive Officer and Managing Director of an estate agent that is part of an international property consultancy. He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of SAEA during the period when industry consultations for the new real estate agency regulatory framework were called and remains a Board Director. He has been active in the real estate industry since 1990. He has worked in both public and private sectors, holding various senior positions in residential, property and project management sectors.
Among his credentials, Tee Khoon holds a Cert-in-REA, Bachelor of Science(Building) and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing. In addition, he studied business law and holds a doctorate in marketing. He is a certified Business Planning Consultant and a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers.
Mr Harold Tan is the Real Estate Development Advisory Director for Vestasia Group. He has some 30 years of experience in the real estate industry having worked in both public and private sectors, holding various senior positions covering development, investment, commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors. He has managed joint venture developments in the Asia-Pacific region comprising mixed used developments and townships.
Harold holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Estate Management)(Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Georgia (USA). He is a Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Singapore Institute of Management, CORENET Global (Global Organization for Corporate Real Estate Managers) and the American Chamber of Commerce.
Mr Patrick Tan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the law firm M/s Patrick Tan LLC. He specializes in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, wealth and legacy management, and real estate. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, Commissioner for Oaths, a Fellow with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and an accredited Mediator, appointed by the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Primary Dispute Resolution Centre of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore.
Patrick holds a LL.B (Hons) at the University of Nottingham. He received top honours, clinching several academic prizes in land law, company law and partnership law. Whilst at Nottingham, he served as an editor on the editorial boards of the University's law society and Malaysian and Singaporean Society.
Mr Dennis Tay was an adjunct lecturer with Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Department of Built Environment) in International Business Studies. He has more than 23 years of experience in the property industry in Singapore and Asia. He was involved in property agency work, valuation, investment sales, corporate tenant representation and project marketing. He was the managing director for CB Richard Ellis, Beijing and his last corporate role was as General Manager, Marketing with Keppel Land - marketing both residential and commercial projects for the group in Singapore and emerging markets of China, Vietnam, India, Thailand and Indonesia.
Mr Tay graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management in 1988 and MBA (NUS) in 2008. He also has Diplomas in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and Singapore Institute of Management (SIM)
Edith Tay has more than 15 years of experience in Real Estate, of which more than 12 years are on Singapore Commercial and Industrial Properties. Her previous years representing DTZ, Knight Frank, SembCorp, have imbued in her a strong and substantial foundation in commercial real estate. Her commercial real estate experience spans across various sectors. Her understanding of the business requirements in Education, Healthcare and Hi-tech manufacturing sectors, has helped her contribute to their relocation, as well as expansion decisions of some MNCs and global companies. She has also successfully crafted Built-To-Suit solution for a "Design & Built" project for an aerospace company.
Edith has also established an impressive record in leading the marketing of hi-tech and industrial buildings. These buildings include FoodXchange @ Admiralty, Goodvine Building, Platinum 28, 1 Yishun Ave 7, Nordic European Centre, 178 Paya Lebar Road and Ubi Techpark. She has also won herself the top 3 position of Ascendas Partnership Reward, a recognition given to the top leasing agent.
Tay Kah Poh is honorary Chairman of SAEA Ltd. He is currently a registered salesperson, a licensed appraiser, and Executive Director of Reyfern Real Estate Consultancy Pte Ltd. He is also an Associate Professor at the NUS Department of Real Estate. Kah Poh has more than 25 years of experience in real estate. He was formerly Executive Vice President of Pacific Star Financial and was involved in private equity real estate fund raising. Prior to joining Pacific Star, he was the Executive Director, Consultancy & Research at Knight Frank Singapore, where he directed in-house research and external advisory for local and regional corporate, institutional and government clients.
He holds a BSc (Estate Management) (Hons) from NUS and MA (Business Administration) from University of Georgia. He is also a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV).
Fred Teo, (previously heading the Sales & Marketing Group at Caldbeck Macgregor, Inchcape Wines and Spirits Division, Singapore) has been in the real estate industry for the last 15 years, with the last 10 years mainly focusing on recruitment, training/mentoring and management of agents. He has also been a company’s trainer for the last 10 years, mainly specializing in topics on Selling Skills as well as Marketing of “Private Properties” and “New Project Launches”. He is currently an Agency Director leading a team of more than 400 agents.
He has been CEHA-certified since 1999, and also a graduate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) since the 1980s.
Mr Benjamin Yeo graduated from the National University of Singapore (Honours) and served in the Singapore Government Legal Service from 1979 - 1983. His main areas of practice include Conveyancing, Real Property, Commercial and Corporate Law. He served as the Deputy Registrar of Land Titles and Deputy Controller of Residential Property before joining the private sector in 1983. Benjamin has extensive experience in both simple and complex transactions, such as franchises, joint ventures, corporate mergers, property development and collective land sales.
He has worked with an extensive clientele including multinational corporations, banks, government agencies, property developers and retail chains. In 1993, Benjamin co-founded M/s Yeo Wu & Thian and headed the Admin & Personnel and Conveyancing Departments. In 2001, he also co-founded Infinitus Law Corporation, heading its Admin & Personnel and Conveyancing Departments. He was a tutor for Conveyancing and Real Property in the Post-graduate Practice Law Course for graduate lawyers from 1986 to 1992. He was also a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public from 1996 to 2002. Benjamin's practice covers overseas countries such as China, Malaysia and Indonesia.
