CES is held every month. This is to prepare all active agents to obtain a basic entry level qualification suitable for accreditation as salespersons. The CES course is funded up to 90% of course fee by WDA until 15 July 2010. The CES course is the only real estate course funded at the Certifiable Skills Training level by WDA. Certifiable Skills Training refers to training that leads to national or industry-wide certification (see www.wda.gov.sg and under Employer-based Funding for details).

CES comprises 2 papers lasting 2 hours each. The first paper will deal with the institutional and legal framework for conducting agency business. The second paper will deal with the selling aspect and the functions of a salesperson. Detailed syllabi of the papers can be obtained from the SAEA website.
